CLAIMING STAKES TO GO QUICK G D Widener Filly First in Juvenile Feature at Belmont Park Weather Conditions Ideal In New York and Program andProgram Entertaining Sickle Pear PearScores Scores Again NEW YORK N T May 23 George D Wideners Go Quick the juvenile daughter of Haste and Parasol won her most profit ¬ able race at Belmont Park today when she scored an easy victory in the Bouquet Claim ¬ ing Stakes a prize for twoyearolds This had a net value of 3160 to the winner winnerFar Far back of the winner Sylvester W La brots Kings Pleasure which raced well in Maryland took second place and J J Rob ¬ insons Jessie D M barely saved third from Mrs SaintThe John Hay Whitneys No Saint The Bouquet Stakes was the feature by season of its monetary value but it was not the best offering in a racing way on a card that attracted a large crowd to the course Weather conditions were ideal and there was plenty of entertainment right through dayNine the day Nine started in the Bouquet and the start was a good one with little delay at the post Kings Pleasure beginning from the outside stall was first to show the way and he was closely followed by Jessie D M and Go Quick No Saint was a bit slow getting under way but soon found his way into third place and both he and Kings Pleasure were racing well out from the rail while Jessie D M and Go Quick were running straight and not far from the rail railIn In the final furlongs Hunter shook up Go Quick and she had no trouble taking command Once showing the way she con ¬ tinued to increase her lead until her win ¬ ning advantage was five lengths Kings Pleasure hung on well to the final drive and he was a length and a half before Jessie f Continued on twentyfifth page
