EIGHT ALARM FIRE PITTSBURGH Pa July 18 An eight alarm fire visible for miles swept through the Pittsburgh stock yards today leaving twothirds of the yards in ruins Fanned by a strong breeze within a few minutes after the blaze was discovered flames had spread over an area ten blocks long and three blocks wide Every available fireman and policeman in the city was called to the scene Six firemen were reported injured two seriously
