Local Horsemen Plan to Attend Final Session of HBPA Confab ConfabSTTCKNEY STTCKNEY 111 June 4 While only a dozen of them will take part in the com ¬ mittee and executive deliberations during the twoday conference of the Horsemens Benevolent Protective Association open ¬ ing in Chicago on Wednesday all owners and trainers having horses at Hawthorne Washington Park and Sportsmans Park who are members of that organization will attend the big general session of the con ¬ vention on Thursday evening The general meeting will bring the annual confab to a close closeMany Many matters of importance to horse ¬ men and racing will be taken up by com ¬ mittees and officers during the two days The election of officers to serve during the ensuing year will take place near the close of the convention
