Beulah Seeks Dates for War Relief Meet of Three Days DaysCOLUMBUS COLUMBUS Ohio June 6 Request for fora a threeday meeting for war relief at atBeulah Beulah Park July 1 3 and 4 has been beenfiled filed with the State Racing Commission Commissionby by Robert J Dienst president and general generalmanager manager of the Grove Ciiy track If the dates are granted the fall meet ing will be reduced three days in length and will open August 12 instead of August 9 The fall session will close September 4 4Last Last year the Beulah Park management raised 2182545 for war relief and in 1942 13538 was realized Officials feel confi ¬ dent that the total will be surpassed by a substantial sum if the three days are granted grantedBeulah Beulah concluded its annual spring meeting of 21 days on Monday with both mutuel play and attendance higher than at any previous session in recent years
