First Unit of Calumet Horses Is Due at Homewood Today TodayHOMEWOOD HOMEWOOD Hi June 14 The first of Warren Wrights Calumet Farm horses to reach Washington Park will arrive here be ¬ fore noon tomorrow Coming from New York two cars of Calumet performers left Belmont Park today and another car will follow either tomorrow or Friday This stable headed by the Kentucky Derby Preakness winner Pensive the champion threeyearold filly Twilight Tear Sun Again MarKell and other less brilliant stars may be the largest on the grounds for the combined Arlington Park and Washington Park meetins In all Jones may have about 30 at the Halsted Street plant Although Pericles William Helis 66000 juvenile is not yet ready for racing he will be included among the horses Edward Sny der will have at Washington Park for his New Orleans employer The colt could be ready for colors before the close of the long meeting His stablemate Rounders leaves New York in top condition and ready to resume racing here
