Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS at Washington I Park Homewood HI May 18 18Joseph Joseph Bollero has taken over the con ¬ ditioning of six racers for Kansas City Mo owner Mrs G H Emick including the handicap performer Hollyman Bol ¬ lero also assumed the training duties of the horses Countess In and Damish for Alessia Endovina EndovinaJockey Jockey Walter Humes well known to downstate horsemen was forced to vacate his usual racing habitat of Fairmount Park with that tracks cessation of thoroughbred racing and has taken out a license to ride at Lincoln Fields James Hikes is attempting to bring into running condition the former stakes win ¬ ner Bergoiater as one of the charges he is training for owners C C Bothman Starter Reuben White announced this morning that he and his assistants will school horses at Washington Park in the morning from seven to nine daily Ownertrainer G L Kepner this morning purchased privately the racer Random Breeze from F P Berry BerryE E C Dobson arrived this morning from Churchill Downs with the William M Peavy thoroughbreds numbering seven The unit consists of Jett Jett Puddle Jumper Burgoos Gal Red Tape Ermilia Challor ette and Mill Cat Jockey Robert Lee Bairdr one ot the leading reinsmen this spring in Kentucky has transferred first call on his services from Mrs J S Letellier to the stable owned by E C Roth The change was made amicably and Baird expects to ride several of Mrs Letelliers racers during this meet ¬ ing ingFrank Frank Miller custodian of the Jockeys room at the Lincoln Fields meeting an ¬ nounced that there has been a terrific in ¬ rush of riders which brings the total num ¬ ber registered with him to 92 Of this num ¬ ber 20 are apprentice jockeys
