STARRY SKY, hustled to gain a prominent position, was steadied rounding M turn, then responded when roused and brought to the outside in the stretch and won going away. HELjJr GRAYSON determinedly resisted bids from TASTY DISH setting the pace, disposed of that one to draw _pr, but was not good enough for the winner. JUNOX gradually improved her position racing on the outsigWand finished willingly. TASTY DISH was a keen contender into the stretch and weakened. MISS MARILE_frinrshed well. DANDY DAN saved all possible ground, but tired. RARE ART may have been in close quarterpafter the start and dropped back. SEVEN EMS was taken up at the start. BLUE JOSIE saved ground racing to the leaders, luggedin moving to TIME FOR FUN in the last eighth, but was quickly straightened and willingly drew clear. TIME FOR FUN slipped through on the rail to rapidly open a clear lead at the head of the stretch, then weakened under punishment. NERVE came between horses in the stretch drive and finished fast. BLACK AND BLUE picked up speed in the stretch run and closed well on the outside. DEPAL saved ground to improve position. OUR TOWN faltered. SAILS was not a factor. SONOFUN quit. SIR RARCO lost distance on the turn, then closed well, and handily bested KAMEHAMEHA. The latter was under steady urging, appeared mildly dangerous saving ground in the early stretch, but lacked courage. INCRIMINATION steadily made up distance from a slow beginning.
