had the colt on the outside and was foolish to accept such a break He ran all around his field and finished with a tremendous rush Hanlight Fanlight was nicely ridden She was away well on her stride and saved all the ground possible during tho thou journey This seems to be more than an ordinary filly Tulla Tulle Fonso Fonts is fast McNickle Canticle got heroff hereof running and perhaps pumped her out the first five furlongs At any rate she stopped badly at the finish Prince McClurg McClure is a slow beginner He was off in front but dropped far back in the first sixteenth and hardly ran his Dam ran an improved race over his last He was prominent all the way and just stopped at the end Rutter Ruttier was scheduled to ride Dunois Dubois but tho thou judges received notice from St Louis that the boy was suspended The notice came after the horses had gone to the post Dunois Dubois was called back Rutter Ruttier taken off and Caywood Cawed substituted substitutedScratched substituted was nicely handled Burns kept him in behind the others to the stretch Then he came with a rush This colt likes to run from behind and can go a route Miss Marks ran an honest race She looked to be winning when Frank Bell slopped at the head of the stretch but could not stall off Sea Lions rush Queen of Song was all tangled up at the start She had a lot of trouble in the race but finished strong and true Frank Bell lacks courage He was much used at the post and tired badly when the pinch came Hardy Pardee Parsee can be tabbed from now on He had a lot of speed and ran a good race raceSea races and hurtled all the way was running fast at the end He is a hard horse to ride and needs the strongest kind of handling Morte Mote Fonse Fosse runs best under Thorpe He seemed to be winning on the far turn when Caywood Cawed made his move but tired when straightened away for home Swordsman under a stout pull nearly all the way collapsed when the pinch came Friar John skinned the rails on tho thou should have won She suffered from bad handling and took the long route This filly dislikes weight Lizzie Tizzies Cavalier had bad luck She was bumped and interfered with at tho thou start Hardly had speed but tired From a poor beginning Revenge Dare ran a crditablo creditable race weightFerroll weightier Hardly will win a race soon under light weight Ferroll Ferro place 6 to 5 show 3 to 5 Heigh first four were driving to the limit Locust Blossoms win was a great surprise She got away well and McNickle Canticle stole a march on the other boys He opened up a big gap early that could not be overcome The filly was dying fast at the end Daisy F was far the best and with anything like a good ride could not have lost Woods got off 1 poorly but took a chance though to get through on tho thou first turn after that he let the fillyloaf filly down the back stretch and got shut off on the far turn He then pulled up and went around and was galloping over his field at the finish Nathanson Nathan evidently prefers a fast track1 His race was a great improvement over the last George Krats Rats was right there Conleys Coney ride on him was a horror He was in and out and all over the track Uarda Guardia is not much these days She was heavily played but ran disappointingly Wilson wants a muddy track Scratched Elidad Elided 102 Found 97 Overweights Overweighs poundsLocust pounds George
