JOCKEY MORRISON TO QUIT TURF. , Louisvil. Ky.. June 7. — Steeplechase jockey F.. " Moiiisoii annoimced today that he will quit the turf and retire lo his farm near Stephenville. Ky. Morrison was recently suspended for thirty days for engaging in a whip duel with Archibald in the e Louisville Steeplechase last Saturday William Shields teh graphed to Judge Price today asking for a miMlification of Archibalds suspension that he may ride the Shields jumpers this month. ■ I In request was denied.
