Schleswig was a rushing pacemaker for six furlongs and tired in the closing strides, but is very promising. Footpad, taken to tin rear and reserved in the early running, made a good, but belated, finish. Notasulga. away poorlv. was prominent to the streteh and unit. Womllane was nearly left. Rockstone ran in forward and persistent pursuit of the pacemakers aud was a game second. Saracinesca made the running bv a wide gap to midway of the stretch, then quit badly. Queen of the Hills ran in prominent contention from the start and finished close up. Miss Alert was well up for live furlongs and retired. Adriuche failed to stav after early strenuous pursuit of Saracinesca and ran a bad race. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Harris was excessively urged into -the load on the turn and, being- bumped repentedlv in the last quarter, tired finally under a bad ride. Saylor. went wide 011 the turn and finished like a whirlwind, coming from away back in a belated final rush. Okeuite showed speed, but quit badly. The winner was entered for 00; 110 bid. Garland was always in nearest pursuit of the pacemakers and a game, but lucky, second. Lose Beaumont broke slowlv and closed up steadily, but swerved repeatedly iu behind the leaders. Helen Harvey, away badly, trailed to the stretch and finished well. Grania was never daugerous and not ready. Mv Mariutch showed superior -speed for five furlongs, but is a non-stayer. Nasturtia retired early after shewing brief speed. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 77300 Belle oi the Ball, 105; 77253H111 Top. lOo. Overweights Rose Beaumont, 2 pounds.
