Olive Ely, away fast and clear of interference, set a fast pace from the start and only succumbed right at the ond. Buffons stood a hard drive gamely and was wearing Olive Ely down at the ond. Floreal closed an e:ry gap quickly and ran a good race. Gliding Belle finished fast and close up. Mrs. Sewall closed a big gap and was going well at the end. The winner was entered for ; no bid. Howard Sliean, knocked back soon after the start, closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Blue Lee. away poorly and taken wide all the way. ran a good race. Still Alarm ran poorly.
