Lady Alicia forced the pace briefly and was shuffled back in the middle running, then made a belated stretch challenge. Uotrou was going well at the end. Huapala set the early pace and tired. Core had no mishaps and was forwardly placed throughout. F. Neugent showed superior early speed, but tired badly and was palpably short. Bill Eaton was short and is a good looker. Overweights F.
