FLUKY VICTORY FOR PERTHSHIRE Jockeys Poor Judgment Results in Defeat for Don ¬ ald Macdonald in Newtown Selling Stakes New York July 30 W N Adrians sprinter Perthshire appears to have the Indian sign on Don ¬ ald Macdonald for he again beat him today in the running of the Newtown Selling Stakes one mile and a sixteenth But as was the case in their previous meeting Donald Macdonald was the better of the two While Perthshire ran a good game race it was Bntwells jockeyship that won the stake for him Butwell was alert when the barrier was sprung and before Wilson on Donald Macdouald had realized
