SCHREIBER THOROUGHBREDS FOR AFRICA. Lexington, Ky.. January 7. II. C. Gird, of Caps Town. South Africa, today bought fifteen three year-old thoroughbred lillles and geldings from Barney Schreiber. They will be shipiied from Sedalia. Mo., to St. Louis next Tuesday and from there they will 0 to Montreal on a special train with 125 head of mules to take ship for South Africa. Fred A. Forsytbe today leased Keenland Farm-front Mrs. Markey. of Virginia, a sister of J. O. Keene. and will remove ids thoroughbreds from Har-rodsburg to that farm, which is about four miles from I.exhigton on the Versailles road. Several thoroughbreds belonging to James Mae-Manus. which have been running out at John S. Bar-bees farm, were taken up today and shipped to Louisville. T. P. Hayes today took np Donerail, winner of the last Kentucky Derby.
