CHEYENNE MEETING PROGRESSING Say the Victor in the Main Raco of Yesterday Moro Stables Arrive from the East. Cheyenne, Wyo.. August 25. The Wyoming Handicap, at one mile, was the feature race on the program this afternoon. While there were only five starters In the race and one an entry from the stable of W. C. Applegate, went to the post, it was a grand contest and all of the horses found plenty of admirers. The take of this race was the largest through the machines of any at the present meeting. The winner turned up in Say, which was allotted the top weight by racing secretary Finn. The little horse was admirably ridden by jockey Gross, who saved him for the first three-quarters, then came on to win easing up. The second division all came to the finish close together. Star Shooter oiitgaming Louise Paul for second place. Another large week end delegation came over from Denver on the special, while there was a big representation that used their own motor cars to make the trip. T. Franks, who was ruled 011 at Tijuana last winter, was . taken from the grounds at the order of tho stewards and denied,the privileges of the course. Another arrival of horses came In last night from Detroit.. The. strings of Jj Hnskins, J. It, Goodman, J. Connor and A. Stone were in the shipment.
