JOHN SANFORDS BREEDING PLANS PLANSMARES MARES TO STAY IN ENGLAND LOXDOX England May 20 The report that Mr John Sanford intends to ship to America the whole of his bloodstock in England is not true All his mares will remain here Subscriptions for 1921 have been taken to sucli wellknown stallions as Sunstar Lemberg Corcyra Stornoway Greenback Cieero and Grand Parade and arrangements are being made to use the greatest sires in England in 1022 Each summer Mr Sanford has hael shipped to the Uniteel States a number of yearlings which he lias breel over here This year as soon as the American government prohibition of shipment of thoroughbreds on account of foot and mouth elisease amemg cattle is removed the yearlings will go over and they will be accompanied by Nassovian The oldest get of Xassovian are yearlings He was restrietcrt to twelve mares in his first season There were only two barren Threw of the foals unfortunately died There are living fe als by Xasseivian from dams of Orestes and DoiuiMOomi Gath Aalerius Juvenescence and Carnarvon All therse are well known on American race tracks The pre hibition on stock exportations is almost sure to be taken off early in this mouth
