v FOUR WINNERS FOR E. FATOR Riding of Polk Jockey Feature of Mondays Racing at New Cleveland Track. CLEVELAXD. Oiiio, October 24. The riding of jockey Elmer Fator was the outstanding feature of the racing at Maple Heights Park this afternoon. He piloted four of his five mounts to victory and on none of them did he give his supporters cause for much alarm, as they all won by comfortable margins. Discord came from behind in the stretch to beat Tom Goose in the third race, but on Diamond Dale, Colonel Matt and Doctor D. the Polk rider was always in the van, well in advance of his opponents. The form followers had a good line on the various starters,- as was shown when six of the seven favorites were returned winners. The track was much improved today, the weather ideal and a crowd of over 4,000 turned out to witness the sport. Jockey J. Doniinick was an arrival here today from Montreal, where he was recently restored to good standing by the stewards of the Quebec Breed-res Association and he commenced riding today. Enrico Caruso was ordered scratched by the stewards today and his entry will be refused here iu future, due to his mean actions in refusing to leave the barrier on Saturday. A. Alexander has made preparations to ship his stable, including the good two-year-old Quick Run, to Pimlico from here. James Arthur wired today from Laurel for twelve stalls and will send on a division of his stable here. Stables are being built as rapidly as possible in an effort to accommodate all who are anxious to ship to this meeting. A new stable of twenty stalls was completed today. Carroll Drake was temporarily reinstated by judge Gcrhardy today. Drake now has Fait Accompli and a pair of two-year-olds. -
