W. R. COES CUBAN STABLE Prominent Western Breeder to Race String of Fourteen Horses at Oriental Park. HAVANA, Cuba, November IS. W. R. Coe will be well represented at the Oriental Park meeting this winter. Kenneth KaYrick last year brought a few horses belonging to this breeder and sportsman to Cuba, but the plans for the coming meeting are much more ambitious. Trainer Karrick recently arrived here with fourteen of the Coe string, all of which are the produce of Mr. Coes mares. Since their arrival all of the horses have been going along well in their training gallops. The stable includes one three-year-old, eight two-year-olds and five yearlings. The three-year-old of the band is Master Hand, a bay son of Ballot and Shuck H., which his trainer regards highly. The two-year-olds are a promising band for Cuban racing and are: Pony Kiprcsa, ch. c, by rolymelian Moonrise. Winnepeh, ch. c, by Polymelian Winnie. Wildcat, b. c, by Polymelian- Catacomb II. Tenderfoot, b. c, by Polymelian Hassock. Plesan, b. c, by Polymelian Jacoba. Iit tie Smoke, b. c, by Sweep Polygon. Mountain Lassie, b. f, by Harmonicon Fair Maid. AVawona, ch. f, by Harmonicon Welsh Maid. The stables yearlings are : Bay colt, by Harmonicon Ratify. Bay colt, by Ilannonicon Isette. Chestnut colt, by Hells Rclls Merry Thought II. Brown filly, by Ilella Rolls Winnie. Ray gelding, by Dixon Discretion. The stable will, command the services of jockey .1. Callahan, a most experienced rider, and J. Bruenner, also a rider of considerable merit.
