I DALLAS TURF NOTES Frank M Kelley who has served as track superintendent at Arlington Downs since racing was legalized in this state was a visitor at Fair Park Saturday afternoon He stated that he has resigned as track superintendent at Arlington Downs and that he was leaving for New York where he hopes to acquire some horses Jockey horsesJockey C E Allen was permitted to cancel his mount on Bunting Lad in the eighth race Friday when he dislocated his shoulder while astride Out Bound in the seventh race raceNominations Nominations for the Dallas Juvenile Stakes which features Wednesdays pro ¬ gram closed Saturday night The dash at four and a half furlongs carries 1500 in added money moneyThe The Texas Centennial Handicap a seven furlongs sprint to be offered next Saturday and for threeyearolds and upward will probably attract William C Weanta Prince Fox and Leo J Marks Marooned Nomina ¬ tions MondayO for the race close Monday O L Foster left for Wise County Texas on tripJack a fishing trip Jack Yeargin who accompanied Paul Keester to Louisville returned from that point Saturday morning and will remain here for a few days before proceeding to Rockingham Park where he serves as pa ¬ trol judge The heaviest rain to have visited this sec ¬ tion in many years fell the greater part of the night and Saturday morning and only a few horses were seen in trials over the Fair Park track Saturday morning
