Displayers Horse Sense SenseDETROIT DETROIT Mich June 17 Talk about instinct Well it seems that Displayer has it along with quite a bit of horse sense Displayer is one of the horses that did not perish in the fire than razed two barns at the Fair Grounds last night He saved himself Yes saved himself by simply leav ¬ ing the raging scene and returning to his old stall in the show barn in the opposite side of the track from the fire Maybe it was instinct that led him to return to B W Oppermans stable since he had spent con ¬ siderable time there before being claimed and installed in Barn 10 Anyway when the conflagration started in Barn 10 Dis ¬ player now the property of Mrs T P Bledsoe and and trained by L G Buster Bedwell broke loose and galloped off and as horses usually do when loose his horse sense led him back home and to safety
