CALIFORNIA RACING OFFICIALS Owing to illness and death in his family Cap ¬ tain stain Jim Rees will hardly get to California in time to preside in the Ingleside Ingles stand Mr J A Murphy will be the presiding judge until Captain Reea Rhea is ready for duty and after that his associate Either Dick Dwyer or W J Cald Scald well will start at Ingleside Ingles and J B Ferguson at Oakland The same judges are likely to be on duty at both the big California tracks There is harmony of the keenest sort between them This is as it should be and for the best interest of tho thou sport
