IMP WINS ANOTHER GOOD RACE Lakesides fifteen day spring meeting closed yesterday There was a big racing card per ¬ fect fet weather a crowd of 4000 and good racing for the finish finishImp finish Imp again showed her quality by carrying 117 pounds in the nine furlong handicap and win ¬ ning Ming all the way She won as she chose Imp is in the Brooklyn Handicap with only 98 pounds and the chances are that she will be shipped east to start in it Charles Brossman Grossman who trains her is not in favor of sending the filly east But it looks as if she could win the event eventPeter eventuate Peter McCue McClure who ran five furlongs in 1 01 in his last race was mixed up with a lot of speed in the fifth race He was an even money favorite After setting a terrific pace for three furlongs he was nailed by fast and game Dave Waldo Weald and Donna Rita Then the Illiuoisbred Illinois colt stopped Dave Waldo Weald won Donna Rita was running fastest at the finish finishTom finish Tom Ryan started Dont Don't Skip Me in the sec L ond bond race and the ring made her an odds on favorite The filly won quite handily handilyThe handily The opening race went to Borden Molo Moo backed from 5 to 21 to 1 won the third race in a lucky sort of way from Morte Mote Fonse Fosse who was at 1 to 2 2Nivoce Nivoce Invoice the second choice at 8 to 5 easily landed the fourth event and Corporal Rollers filly Elsie Bramble scored in the closing event All in all it was a good afternoons racing
