RULED OFF At their meeting in New York Wednesday night the stewards of the Jockey Club dis dais ¬ patched some decidedly important business which is thus described in a telegram from that city cityA city A meeting of the stewards of the Jockey Club was held this afternoon Messrs Messes James R Eeene Weenie James Galway F D Hitchcock Andrew Miller and F K Sturgis being present The re ¬ port of the Brighton Beach stewards was first taken up In the matter of the running of the horse Burlesque the Brighton decision was con ¬ firmed The entries of G B Patterson and of the horse Burlesque were ordered refused on all courses racing under the jurisdiction of the Jockey Club and the trainers license granted to G B Patterson and the jockey license to J Cooley Thompson were revoked revokedLike revoked Like disposition was made of the Our Johnny case The entries of William Cheritan Christian and the horse Our Johnny were ordered re ¬ fused and the license of James Sennet Usenet trainer for Cheritan Christian revoked revokedOn revoked On tha than report of the Stewards of the Sara ¬ toga Racine Association the jockey license of J J McCafferty was revoked revokedThe revoked The above action of the stewards of the Jockey Club is in the cases of Patterson Cheri Cherie ¬ tan Sennet Usenet Thompson and the horses Burles Burbles ¬ que qua II and Our Johnny equivalent to a ruling off while McCafferty is only debarred from rid ¬ ing King G B Patterson is a Kentuckian brother of C T Patterson who developed Ornament and other good horses He is at present said to own only the horse Burlesque II W Cheritan Christian has been on the turf two seasons and his stable is uot out an extensive one James Sennet Usenet was formerly a member of the racing firm of Sennet Usenet Warn the most popular member of their stable in those days being the horse Eclipse
