NOTES OF THE TURF The Kentucky Association grounds have be ¬ gun to assume an air of bustle and business Stables are being put in order for the annual influx of yearlings which are broken every fall at this track Among tho thou yearlings which have already come in are those of Bromley Brome Co which are being handled by Wm Steele who was with Bauer Co last season The Eastin Easton Larabie Laramie string has also arrived and are being broken by Ed Headley Headily Among these is a full sister to Halma Alma Cy Hughes also took up a number of youngsters this week Will Hayes is also expected in a few days to break the yearlings belonging to his brother T P Hayes The Thoroughbred Record RecordProbably Record Probably the best yearlings at Latonia Antonia are those belonging to VV Showalter Howler The two most promising of the lot are fillies Horsemen who have watched this pair work say that they are two of the finest youngsters they ever looked at One of them is a iiaif iii sister to ranchita brachia II by Wagner Glen Belle The other is by Likely and her work shows that she does not belie the name of her sire sireMi siren Mi Uus Us duidus druids hiii tuis etuis veen Sven s mp ins stiing sting of horses at the Kentucky Association track to Newport It includes Dad Steele Clara C Claret Cup and several twoyearolds toeholds
