NOTES OF THE TURF Concerning an incident vested with a measure of local interest yesterdays Cincinnati En qnirer niter says Reuben Meyers Meyer who was ruled off the turf at Hawthorne by Judge Reos Roes on the ground of fraudulent racing and the elder Wagner were at Latonia Antonia yesterday The pur pour ¬ pose of Meyers Meyer visit was to get from Secretary Hopper some pointers as to how to proceed with a view of securing reinstatement As the Turf Congress rules prescribe that applications for redress of grievances must be handed into the Committee of Appeals within five days after the act from which relief is sought Secretary Hopper advised Meyers Meyer to appeal direct to Judge Rees by whom he was ruled off People who know Judge Rees very well around here can see the finish of Meyers Meyer application for reinstatement reinstatementIn reinstatement In this issue of DAILY RACING FOBJI FBI the Coney Island Jockey Club advertises the an ¬ nual neural renewal of throe of its longest established stakes the Foam and Surf for 2yearolds and the Tidal for 3yearolds These are among the really valuable fixtures of each year and their well arranged conditions are strongly com ¬ mended to the earnest consideration of western owners of promising yearlings Entries close November 15 and special attention is called to the conditions to which they are subject subjectA subject A petition is being circulated among the owners at Latonia Antonia requesting that Win Bran non of Polk Polka Badget Badge fame be again reinstated to the privileges of the turf It is hardly likely that that petition will meet with much con ¬ sideration ideation I
