Winner B. h, by St. Andrew Cuisine. Start poor. Won in a sharp drive. Caspers price was all too long. The soft going suited and his class sustained him in the closing drive. He has been improving. Is only worth consideration in mud. Sybaris virtually broke down. He had speed until lameness settled him. Little T. G. ran an honest race. Is improving and should be tabbed. Cappy favors mud and ran a good race. Lady Ashley was away slowly and had bad luck. She ran a good race. Tab Ballister. A bad ride settled him. Scratched Mocorito, 91; Diablita, 104. Master Lee ran an excellent race, is in good condition and improves as he runs. Tab him. He closed a big gap. Furia is better than she raced and is improving. Watch her. The Offering is not at her best in soft going. That is a characteristic of the Brutus family. Watch her. She is a fair filly. Gold Garter and The Minister were short. Glengaber isnt much but was unlucky. Wing, place, 1 to 3. Master Lee, place. 4 to 5. Furia, show, 2 to 1. THIRD RACE 5-8 Mile. Purse 00. 3-year-olds. Jerry Hunt is a remarkably good mud horse, and in such going held the others safe at ail stages. He ia improving steadily. Campus ran a good honest race and will stay over a distance of ground. Doremus swerved in the stretch but ran a fair race notwithstanding. He was weakly handled. The Fretter was pocketed and unlucky. The Pride was not ready and should be kept track of. She has marvelous speed, but doesnt care for weight. Lime vVater ran an honest race and closed stoutly. He is honest and is good in soft going. El Estio was not among her own kind. She is good. Winner B. m. by Racine Aurelia II. Start straggling. Won cleverly. 81y is at her best now, likes such going as she had today and was well placed and fortunate all through. Dunois was probably the best. He was off badly, cut off at critical stages and made up a lot of ground when clear of impediments. Lprd Continued on 2nd page, Marmion dislikes mud and tired badly in the stretch. He is in good form. Guildpr ran to his mark. None Such is good in mud and will do to consider in moderate company. Throw Horatios race out. He met with interference that destroyed his chances. Scratched Magnus, 101: Imperious, 101; Dnrwad, 104: Alicia, 107; Elidad, 107. Bly, place, 4 to 1 ; show, 2- to 1. Prince Tyrant was the best horee, but met with much interference-and was not well ridden. Castake is very much at home in sticky going and ran a good race Free Lady s race is not to be considered as having any bearing on what she can do. New Moon closed a big gap and was running fast at the end. Frank Jaubert was weakly handled. Fly is a speedy quitter and wants a fast track. Overweights Prince Tyrant, 2 Dounds; Frank Jaubert, 31.
