BATTLEDORES FINISH. New Orleans, La., January 20 While the horses were at the post in the fifth race today, Battledore keeled over and tumbled to the ground. It was reported he had an attack of heart failure. The books agreed to refund the money wagered on him, and with this understanding the stewards did not order a new book made on the race.
