Madrone is a speedy sprinter only. Milkarth made up a lot of ground and finished strongly. Don Luis ran very disappointingly and was not well ridden. Nora Ives showed some speed. She is best suited by soft going. Napian ran well to the stretch and then quit. Campus ran a bad race and it should be thrown out. Overweights Lomo, 5 pounds; Napian, 3. Prastome ran a good race finishing like a stayer. Ice Drop closed a big gap from a bad beginning and should be kept track of Rixford ran very green. Is reported to be a good one.
