Mallakawa, Owyhee, Lime Water, Gold Car, El Mido, Chopin, Asthore, Liberal, Impartial, Tulane, Somers, Bobert, Federal, Hopkins, Holdup, Hopscotch, Sharp, less, Overboard, Keep Time, Chanler, Holden, Improvident, Hindoo--Jennie Blue colt, Epping, Landgrave, Highwater, Tartan, Catapult, Interferer, St. Lorenzo, Young Exile, Cosmopolitan, Passaic, Spurs, Holland, Wertheim, Hapsburg, Artisan, Mayor Grant, Ordinate, Sol, Colonel Tenny, Huitzilopochtli, Prestidigita-trice, Lumen, Little Reggie, Appendix, Procession, Aureus, Hood, Magnum, Cherry Pit, Vermouth, and bay colt, by Ben Strome Haven. Hardesty is endeavoring to raise a fund by subscriptions from breeders, turfmen and citizens who dislike to see the oldest racetrack in this country obliterated, sufficient to buy the Lexington track and provide for the continuance of racing over it in the future. He has met with encouragement and thinks he will succeed. Wi C. Daly thinks he has discovered a jockey of tho future in little Slack who rode Sensational in a race a few days agj and is credited with offering ,000 for a three year contract for the lads services with the. additional inducement of 5 for winning mounts.
