Winner B. c, by Tammany La Trappe. Start good. Won in a hot drive. Tammany Hall II. got away running. He is a very fast sprinter and held his own with Abuse in the drive down the stretch. Abuse was unlucky at the start and ran a good race, but it was hardly up to his best form. Sly was speedy and finished fast nipping out Highland Ball at the wire. Beaucbamp gave a bad looking ride on the latter. Lost Girl ran a fair race only and may have been a bit short. Etta H. was limping and sore. So did Satsuma, who ran to his best form. Bnckwa could not concede the weight and was none too well handled. Espionage suffered from the weakness and inexperience of her small rider. Mainstay showed unusual speed and closed fast in the last furlong. Eaking ran a good race and is probably better than his record indicates. Bonibel ran to the mark, but Shasta Water did not. Whitcombs race was a bad one and should not be considered. Roadwarmer was outclassed. Scratched 10519 Royal Fan, 79; 10181 Barnardillo, 96. Overweights Eakins, 3 pounds.
