OLD IVANHOES RACING. In looking over your interesting table published in Daily Racing Foem February 14, 1899, I see that an error in Goodwins Guide for 1890, had made you credit "Ivanhoe" with twenty-nine races run during the year when Ivanhoe late Lemon, bad only run eighteen races. In 1890 Lemon was five years old and the races he ran that year as Ivanhoe, were indexed to a two-year-old Ivanhoe, by Bramble Leah Z., so that eleven of the races indexed to Ivanhoe wore races run by the two-year-old and the four wins only were races run by the five-year-old. I had corrected my guide and looked this horse Tip thoroughly or should not have discovered the error.
