NOTES OF THE TDRF. The trainers are beginning to get their horses out on the track, both at Morris Park and Sheepshead. Superintendent Gorman put his harrows on the Morris Park track the latter part of last week, and Superintendent Frank Clark, of Sheepshead, did the same on Sunday. The improvement in racing at New Orleans, since Captain Rees has been in command, is a most eloquent tribute to Mr. Reas ability in the fundamental linos of correct observation and impartial decision. OConnor has been engaged, to ride Hardy Pardee in the Crescent City Derby. This colt is reported to ba working in great form. Fred Littlefield is to have the mount on Kentucky Colonel. Superintendent Lee, of the Benoings track, has written to Secretary Crickmore that the applications for stalls for the April meeting outnumber the supply nearly two to one. On Deck, Typhoon II , Previous and Heliobas, in the Bromley and Co. string, are reported to have passed the winter in robust health and aro in fine condition for the training track, Fifty new stalls are in process of construction at the Little Rock track, with a probability that another fifty may be added. W. C. Whitneys collection of broodmares already numbers forty-five of the choicest iu the land. Adam Beck, the Canadian turfman, has signed jockey Sullivan to ride the coming season, The reported sale of Dubois to George Miller, acting for Charles L. Fair, is denied.
