NOTES OF THE TURF. Messrs. H. A. Buck and J. J. Burke will issue on March 20 the second number of "Horses in Training," a most useful work, and gotten up in convenient form for easy carriage. The three-year-old Pascarel, by Harry OFal-lon Kalnla, which Mr. Hendrie purchased last fall, has improved very much, and Mr. Hendrie is rather sweet on him. It is said that Ogden will not be sent east this year and it is Mr. Dalys intention to retire him to the stud at Bitter Boot Stock Farm, Montana. The imported stallion Laureate died recently at Hurricana Stud Farm, Amsterdam, N. Y. H. Williams will ride for Hardy Durham this year.
