NOTES OF THE TURF. T. H. Ryans string of horses from California with Dunois at the head reached Memphis Wednesday, sound and well. Fannie Lewis, a broodmare at Palo Alto, is dead. She gave to the turf among others Rico and William Pinkerton, John C. Ferris, Jr has purchased of E. H, Douglas, for 00, the promising two-year-old filly Gold Pick, by Perkins Tambourine. Marcus Dalys Scottish Chieftain has been declared from the Suburban Handicap, J. J. Marklein has sold George B, Cox aud. Mariti to L. V, Bell.
