He is an honest runner and a stayer. Morinel was cut off on the first turn and otherwise unlucky in addition to being weakly handled. Los Medanos showed a lot of speed but ho was not as fit as he will be with more racing. He will bear watching. Robert Bonners effort was out of line. The other two belong in slower company. Winner B. g, by Rio Bravo Virgie. Start good. Won in a hard drive. Vanity was best and will improve and is a most promising steeplechaser. But he had to be hustled to stall off Lord Chesterfields stout bid at the end. The latter was very lucky. His race was above the mark. Huntsman was just outclassed but jan an honest race. Our Climate is not formidable through the field. His race was bad though and can be thrown out. Monita is of no account in the field. University had some early speed. Vanity, place, 3 to 5. She has probably been raced too often recently and may be staling slightly. Mistleton showed a lot of speed and is re-gainingform. He will do to watch from now on. Major Hooker ran a bad race under poor riding. Charley Reiff is of no account in such company. Overweights Sardonic, 2 pounds. Sardonic, place, 3 to 5. Mistleton, show, 1 to 2.
