It was a bard finish between the first two but Bathos showed himself to b6 the best. The race was between the pair throughout and both were finely handled. Saintly continues to improve and is apparently regaining form. Balhsta is also on the improving list, He is a fairly good colt but a bad actor at the pos Los Medanos was unlucky. He is liable to win soon. Hey Hooker ran better than the figures indicate and was closing fast at the end. Jerry Hunt was sore and out of form. Magdalene3 showed her usual burst of speed and stopped as usual. Scratched 11019 Rio Chico. 105. Overweights Magdalene-, 2 pounds. Horton, place, 1 to 3. Saintly, place, 12 to 1; show, 5 to 1. Start good. Won easily. The improving track seemed to Buit Highland Ball and his race was a good one, but distinctly a form reversal. Etta H, ran honestly and consistently. Her legs are bad and a soft track Buits her. best. With good riding and a harder track Sly showed improved form. She can do better still. Jim Brownell ran a good race and should win when placed right. Jinks ran a fast quarter and then flinched. She has a bad leg which probably hurt her. I P. A. Fmnegan is a stayer and requires a longer route to show at his best. Scratched-11003 Governor Sheehan, 108; 110153Benamela,105; 109852Heigh Ho, 100; 10995 CaB-dalo,94. Overweights Sly, 4 pounds.
