Charmante faltered on the stretch turn but came again under punishment at the end La Priccessa showed speed. She cannot stay. Daily Racing Form and Sirdar both acted badly at the post. Won well in hand; second eased at the end after early punishment. Tenby was best ridden and was a good hor=e today. Nutt always had him in strik-in* distance and also had him out in the center of the track where the going was best. The same kind of handling would have won for Myth Weber had him in the deep going all of the way and wore him out by pacemaking. Old Sangus also suffered from bad handling. He was rushed to the front early and in the deep going all of the way Admetns made up some ground at the end but not much This was not his race. Sunburst looked good and ran a fairly good race. Ban-quo II was stiff and sore.
