NOTES OF THE TURF. John E. Maddens filly Admiration worked ths Withers mile in 1 :39i last Thursday. It was done to show a probable purchaser that she was up to a mile in 1 :40 or better, and she will probably become a member of the Paget string. Mr. J. K. Megibben died recently at his homa near Cynthiana, Ky.
