NOTES OF THE TURF. B J. Weller filed suit against W. E. Applegate . in the Circuit Court at Covington Wednesday, to settle a partnership between them in three racehorses named Elizabeth R., Prince Mc-Clurg ■ . and Banish. The plaintiff alleges that the horses were purchased by them and paid I for equally, and they have won purses to the i amount of ,000, all of which has bean received L and retained by the defendant. The plaintiff f further alleges that the defendant has made no accounting of his partnership affairs, and without authority from him has sold the horses s Elizabeth R. and Banish. He asks that the 9 partnership batween them be annuled, that the , matter be referred to the Master Commissioner r to hear evidence and the court appoint a i receiver to take charge of the horse Prince „ J McClurg until he can be sold under orders of court and the proceeds put with thj assets of f the firm for distribution between the plaintiff j and defendant.— Cincinnati Enquirer. Mr. Ed Headley went to his home in Lexington Thursday night. He will take his string to 0 Chicago on his return here.
