GOOD RACEKS TO BiS SOLI. Important sales of thoroughbreds in training will take place at Hawthorne Monday, July 10, and Monday, July 17. The first sale will include the horses Mart Jordan campaigned here last year together with drafts from the stables of R, Bradley. S. C. Wagner and other owners. Such excellent performers as Gold Fox. Woodranger and Hat-tia Fox are in the list to be sold. A colt easily up to a mile in 1 :40, as Gold Fox undoubtedly is, is not to be picked up every day and there should ba stout competition for him. The second sale will comprise all of the horses owned by H. L. Frank and J. K Redmon, together with selections from the strings of W.H. Laudeman, P. Ryan and Miles Finlen. Among the horses to be sole are such excellent and seasoned campaigners as Senator Bland, Serrano, Bitter Root, John Havlin, Missioner, Ole-kama, Oaota, Mallakawa and Ailanto, together with a dozen or so more fit and ready to race. This will ba easily the moat important sale of horses in training that has taken place in the west thib year. It will be conducted by the well-known firm of Woodard and Shankiin. Clom Creveling will olficiato as auctioneer at both sales.
