After winning one of these races, Mat Dawson bought her for Mr. Bsnholin, who had a horce or two in Heath Houso stable at the time. For Mr. Benholm she won, at three years of age, the Great Cheshire Handicap and the Ayr Gold Cup. As a four-year-old Bhe missed fire, but the following year Eho won the Great Cheshire Handicap again I and divided the Liverpool Cup with Middle-thorpe. She was called Perdita II. because there was a mare by Cremorno, a year her senior, that was callsd Pardita. When John Porter was collecting a few mares for the stud of the Prince of Wales Perdita II. was one of j the firBt to attract his attention, and ho purchased her for a very reasonable sum.
