Glover got into a jam on the first turn and was repeatedly cut off down the backstrelch. On the far turn the boy came to the conclusion he could not get tbrough and pulled up and went around. When the colt got a clear path he easily went to the front. Finom Respice made up a lot of ground in the last three furlongs He, too, had a rough journey. Maurice W. had no excuses and ran his race. Tha earns comment applies to Defender II. Cheval dOr will not do at a mile. He swerved badly in the stretch. Rosa L. ran a grand race after being almost left at the post.
