Won easily ; second, third and fourth driving to the limit. Loyaletta broke flying and after bumping every one near her had speed to loan. Wink Held resorted to foul tactics at the start. He broke in the middle of the bunch bat immediately cut across in front of everything. Tenole had no excuses ana ran a good race. Amelia Fonso end Alabaster both had rough journeys. Tho pair was on the rail and lucky in not felling. Ticcraf t, after being bumped and interfered with early, got straightened out on the bjckstratch and finished veiy strongly. Diggs alto came strongly at the finish. Jennie F. was obliged to pull up iu the jam at the start. La Chamnagns quit in the stretch. Scratched 13583 Overella, 107. Winner Ch f, by Belvidere Rose. Post 4 minutes. Start f iir. The first three wero driving and out to the last ounce. Rosa Diah finished with a tremendous rush She had clear sailing, bit not epeed enough to keep up in the first part of it. When the others weakened at the end, she had something left to finish with. The filly interfered with Oconae slightly in the stretcb. Oconee it very fast, bnt seems to be a uon-stayer. She was wobbling all over the track in the last sixteenth. Ttirive was slow in getting on his stride. Jenkins used very poor judgment in acopting the break. The colt was wheeling and standing flat-footed. De oy ran a good game race. Inlook had speed, but could not stand the pressure at the end. Scratched 131042Barrack, 103. Overweights Oconea, 2 pounds. Hoa Diah, place, 4 to 1; show, 8 to 5. Oconee, placs, evens; show, 2 to 5. Winner B. h, by Linden Verbena. Post 8 minutes. Start good for all but Prince Blazes. Won driving mildly; second and thrd driving to the limit. FranK Thompson was the bast. Knight trailed the field with him until the stretcb was reacned, and under a hand drive the colt responded gamoly. Periwig is a stayer. Boauchamp move him hard the last half mile. With a stronger finisher Tulane wouhi have been a keen contender. He ran a fine race, bnt Hiram was not strong enough to do him justice aud the horse was ob.iged to finish on his own courage. Prince Blazes, much worstea at the start, maao up a lot of ground and ran a cracking good race. Jonos, on account of his bad bjgmning, had to take the Prince by the longest route. Boanerges had a lot of speed and did well as far aa he went. This race will do him good. Lord Zsnr showed no speed at all. The price on nim was out of line; so was his race. PostS minutes, start good. Won in a mild drive: second and third doing their best. Deer-ingwas far the best and had toba to win. Jenkins rode the same kind of a race that he did on Cherry Leaf laBt Thursday. Either he uses miserable judgment or the other boys purposely hamper him. He dropped into a pocket down the b tckstretch and at the half mile ground was pinched our. Jenkins then had to pull up and go all around his field. Eb jrhart ran a fine race ana finished very stoutly. Espionage had no excuses; she simply weakened in the etretch when thep nehchme Lime Water made one bid on tho bicicstretch and then retired. Pauline J. went wiao on the first turn, losing a lot of ground. Overweights Lime Water, 2 pounds. Dealing, place, out. b. mart, place, 3 to 1; show, evens. Espionago, show, 2 to 5. Algareta is a pood filly and Is in grand f rm. Her race was a lino exhibition of thoroughbred sameness. The filly raced at a terrific pace down the bick-stretch with Flora Louis 0 and then stalled off Canacss strong bid like an aristocrat. Flora Louise, for the first time in her career, ran in blinkers. Canace is in fine fettle and, with a lot of weight off from her Jast start, ran an excellent race. Fervor, after a long let-up, looked high iu flesh, bat ran one of his best races. Tab this fellow for early action. The last three were outclassed.
