Won easily ; second, third and fourth driving to the limit. Loyaletta broke flying and after bumping every one near her had speed to loan. Wink field resorted to foul tactics at the start. He broke in the middle of the bunch bat immediately cut across in front of everything. Tenole had no excuses ana ran a good race. Amelia Fonso end Alabaster both had rough journeys. The pair was on the rail and lucky in not felling. Ticcraf t, after being bumped and interfered with early, got straightened out on the backstratch and fibiihod very strongly. Diggs alto came strongly at the finish. Jennie F. was obliged to pull up iu the jam at the start. La Chamoagna quit in the stretch. Scratched 13583 Overella, 107. Winner Ch f, by B9lvidere Rose. Post 4 minutes. Start fair. The first three wero driving and oat to the last ounce. Rosa Diah finifched with a tremendous rash She had clear sailing, bat not epeed enough to keep up in the first part of it. When the others weakened at the end, she had something left to finish with. Tbe filly interfered with Oconse slightly in the stretch. Oconse ii very fast, but seems to be a non-stayer. She was wobbling all over the track in the last sixteenth. Ttirive was slow in getting on his stride. Jenkins used very poor judgment iu acopting the break. The colt was wheeling and standing flat-footed. Do oy ran a good game race. Inlook had epeed, but could not stand tue pressure at the end. Scratched 131042Barrack, 103. Overweights Oconee, 2 pounds. Hoa Diah, place, 4 to 1; show, 8 to 5. Oconee, place, evens; show, 2 to 5. Winner B. h, by Linden Verbena. Post 8 minutes. Start good for all but Prince Blazas. Won driving mildly; second and thrd driving to the limit. Frank Thompson was the bast. Knight trailed the field with him until the stretcn was reacned, and under a hand drive the colt responded gamely. Periwig is a stayer. Boauchamp drove him hard the last half mile. With a Btronger finisher Tulane woulo have been a keen contender. He ran a fine race, bat Hiram was not strong enough to do him justice aud the horse was ob.iged to finish on his own courage. Prince Blsze3, much worsted at the start, made up a lot of ground and ran a cracking good race. Jones, on account of his bad bjginning, had to take the Prince by the longest route. Boanerges had a lot of speed and did well as for aa he went. This rtco will do him good. Lord Zanr showed no speed at all. The prico on aim was out of line; so was his race. Po8t3 minutes, atart good. Won in a mild drive; second and third doing their bsst. Deer-ingwas far the best and had toba to win. Jenkins rode the same kind of a race that he did on Cberrj Leaf last Thnrsdhy. Either he uses miserable judgment or the other boys purposely hamper him. He dropped into a pocket down the b tckstretch and at the half mile ground was 1 pinched our. Jenkins then had to pull up and go all around his field. Ebirhart ran a fine race , ann finished very stoutly. Espionage had no excases; she simply weakened in the etratch when thep nehebmc Lime Water made one bid on the backstretch and then retired. Pauline J went wide on tho first turn, losing a lot of ground. Overweights Lime Water, 2 pounds. Dealing, place, out. b. mart, place, 3 to 1; show, evens. Espionage, show, 2 to 5. Algareta is. a pood filly and Is in grand f rm. Her race was a fine exhibition of thoroughbred gamecess. The filly raced at a terrific pace down the bnck-stretch with Flora Louie e and then stalled off Canacas strong bid like an aristocrat. Flora Louise, for the first time in her career, ran in blinkers. Canace is in fine fettle and, with a lot of weight off from her Just start, ran an excellent race. Fervor, after a locg let-up, looked high in flesh, bat ran one of his best races. Tab this fellow for early action. The last three were oat-classed.
