NOTES OF THIS TURF. The meeting at Riverside Park, Joliet, 111., is so nearby that it is worth the attention of local turfmen. It extends from September 12 to 15, inclusive, with four races for the runners each day. With free entrance, grain, hay and straw, owners of the many horses here that have but scanty chance of winning can well afford to take in the purses at Joliet.
