Blue Lick ran a much better race than he did Friday. Jim McCleevy seemed to have everything his own way at the head of the stretch, but when pinched he quit badly. Jimp was slow to get going and was interfered with several times. When he got clear sailing in the stretch, he finished strong. Schankenjan a fair race. He is perhaps the best colt over a distance of ground that has shown here this season. There was simply nothing to tbe race after Sam Phillips bumped his way throigh in the stretch. Sam Fullen was running under a choking pull in front all the way but when Beauchamp let him down in the stretch tbe colt had nothing left to respond with Florizar ran a good race. He was bumped and interfered with by Sam Phillips when the latter come through in tho stietch. The first three far outclassed the others and always had theraca between themselves.
