Grron did the best bo conld but seemed to be as tired as tbo hone at tho end. Gypceiver was interfered with and lost considerable ground at the ninth fence. He rated aloug in a grod position to tbe bead of the stretch and then came through with a ru?h. King Bermuda did not run nearly as good a race as he did when last out. Vititoe rode him with less juCgment aleo and in fact rode a bad race. Croesus wa3 on tbe outide al the way and ran a gi od race, this considered. She lost much eround on the stretch turn, bnt finished gamely and truly under punishment. The Lady in Blue displayed esc llent speed, but could not etand the pressure at the end. This filly is at hsr best and deserves attention in any company. Benncville was hardly up to such a race. The others were outclassed.
