Off at first break to a good start. First four driving hard. Animus, as the raco was run, was much the best. Ho was oil in a tangle and obliged to bump bis way through almost the entire route. On the far turn there was a lot of interference and Animus cimo near falling. Overton straightened him cleverly in the stretch after ho had bumpe i Haley, and then the colt out-gamed B own Dick. The latter, after bung badly interfered with at the start, ran a good race. He toon the thcrt rente ana was well tidden. Maryland Reserve made up ground throughout. Haley thowea a lot t.-f spaed but stopped all over. Nellie Fonso was done after going three furlongs. Alice B. had little or so speed and ran a bad race. Throw it out.
