NOTES OF THE TURF. The Civic Carnival Committee and the Old Dominion Tournament and Fair Association will give a race meeting at the Fair Grounds at Richmond, Va., November 2. A program of five events has been announced, including a half-mile dash, a six-furlong heat race, two in three, a race at one and a half miles, one at a mile, and a hurdle race at two miles over eight hurdles. The purses are at 00 each and the raceB will be run under the rules of racing of the Jockey Club. There will be no conflict between the Nashville, Memphis and Louisville tracks next spring, the three associations having agreed on a schedule of dates satisfactory to all concerned. Memphis will race nineteen days in April, Nashville seven days in May, and LouiB-ville fifteen days in May. Thera are but six Flambeau yearlings. One is a colt out of Janet N., the famous broodmare owned by J. Naglee Burk. F. T. Mather, Detroit Odds on Gundava in third race Saturday, 1 to 3 place, instead of 6 to 5.
