When the colt got to going, howevar, he shot by thoso in front like a fiish. Mission Sfemed to get an easy ride. Conley never drew his whip or even hsnd-rode the colt after Creation got in front. Antonictta was beaten whan tho stretch was raachod and Mitchell eased her up. Oleoma showed her neuel Hash 6f speed and also her faint-heartedno33. The race was a procession all th way. Winner B. c, by Deceiver Mary Parks. Post 10 minutes; Start fair. Won eased up: second and third were doing their best. Ed Tipton was by far the best and in a soft spot. He had speed to loan and made a runaway race of it. Shortly after the start Ed Tiptoo collided with Espionage knocking the filly off her stride. This accounts for her b3ing so far bsck. Fantasy showed a surprising amount of speed and ran a good race. Sam Lazirus TLsq. is strictly a mud runner. He seemed to be stiff and sore and propped all tho way. Jim McCleevy ran a bid race. Throw this out entirely in future form calculations. Alban is a good looking filly bat she tried to run over the feaco down tho back-stretch. Harry Tboburn rjn a cracking good raco and perhaps tho bsst of his career. Ho was close to the h aders all the way tnd clearly outgamed them tbrough tho stretch. OCoacell had no excuses. Ho hod all tbo best of the weights, was presented with a rucning start, and the only prcuse that could bs offered was lack of cj: dition. The old gelding Btopped once In the stretch, hufcame again in the last hundred yards. Algareta got away well on her Btride, had clear sailing, but was perhaps used too much in the first part of it. This filly always rnns best from behind. Uucas did exceptionally well for him. Hiise was in a pocket, all the way and generally poorly ridden. Goebel has degenerated to the selling plater class. Georgie ran one of her bad races. Alleviate eeems to be of little present account. Scratched 15177 Reefer, 97: 13818 White Ivy, 99; 14827 Aunt Bird, 97; 15158 Rival Dare, 92. Valentine kept him on tho outside of Canco and May Beach all the way and v.as naturally carried wide oa aJl the turns. Cacace on the first turn, be would have saved the horte mitarialiy and also displayed boiior riding judgment. Whan May Baach and Canace stopped they wore both tind enough to lie down. Ailanto ahowod the most speed, took the shortest routo and ran a creditable race. Hiokey took no chanceo and always kept clear of the others. Ludy Curz-m got a ronniue start. Otherwise she wonlc not have bsen second. She was stopping badly at the end. Tom Gilmore is a fdlrly good youngster and ran to his notch. Brownie Anderson did well considering the weight she was giving away and the ban racing luck she had. Innovator was pocketed early and never got out until the stretch was reached.
